2 Lions for Romania, after Promo&Activation, PR and Direct Lions galas

Creativity

Romania won, last night, 2 Lions at this edition of Cannes Lions: on Silver for McCann Erickson Romania and Rom in Direct competition and one Bronze for Saatchi&Saatchi Romania and Enel in PR competition.

With this Silver Lion for Rom, McCann Erickson Bucharest seems to continue the drive started last year, together with the Romanian chocolate from Kandia Dulce. Last year, McCann Erickson and American Rom were winning, in a 1st for Romania and CEE, 9 prizes at Cannes Lions.

Last year, we excelled in Cannes with our 9 accolades. We showed that Romanian advertising could be extraordinary, we were pioneers for other agencies in Romania, a thing confirmed by the big number of entered works and shortlisted entries at this years’ edition. “Romanians are smart” made history when it was launched, we transformed Romania in the 1st country that changed its image over the internet and here we are, it makes history again in Cannes. A Silver Lion for McCann Erickson Romania confirms the fact that the decision to align ourselves to international standards was the correct one and helped us do exceptional things, first of all for our clients. Rom Autentic became, at least on Croisette in Cannes, one of the most famous export product of Romania
