Romanian PR Award prepares a new edition for this autumn, a celebration one, as the competition marks, in 2012, 10 years from the moment the project was launched.

In 10 years, the local PR celebration managed to gather together institutional partners, known communicators, valuable entries and tens of young people aspiring to make a career in PR.

The anniversary edition of the awards is also marked by a remake of its online identity, with a new and refreshed PRAward.ro, a portal that brings together, besides the competition info, the archive of finalist campaigns from all editions, along with case studies useful to all professionals and people that aspire to a PR career.

The competition is open for entries until September 24th, with this year’s edition being under the sign of growth and diversification: an international top jury, 24 competition categories, the possibility to enter campaigns in various sections and the submission of applications only online.

The jury includes international jurors (from Edelman, Burson-Marsteller, Ketchum Pleon, Grayling , MSL GROUP, Hill+Knowlton, Fleishman-Hillard, Gagen MacDonald), communication directors from big companies with activities in Romania (BCR, Ursus, Coca Cola Hellenic, Raiffeisen, Romtelecom, AVON, Philips, Petrom, Pfizer, Rompetrol, Siemens, Hitachi, real – Hypermarket), managers of Romanian agencies (McCann PR, Brandient, The Practice, GMP PR, Graffiti PR, DC Communication, Free Communication), independent consultants, researchers and representatives of international PR organizations  (US Institute for Public Relations, CSR Europe, International Communications Consultancy Organization and AMEC).

The projects entered in competition will be judged between October 1st-15th, with the winners to be announced during a gala scheduled to take place on Octomber 25th, at Parliament’s Palace in Bucharest.

At our 10 years celebration, we, the organizers, feel the need to remember the tens of people we met during these years. Colleagues and collaborators that surrounded us with their enthusiasm, ambitious participants in competition that raised, each year, competition’s bar, known representatives from international PR community, that offered a plus of credibility to our project, friends that encouraged us when we got tired, artists and photographers that helped us build a more beautiful image for the Gala, young juniors that infected us with youth epidemic, enthusiasts that told the story further, in just one expression…all those that gave sens to our efforts
