Romanian McCann, GMP, Webstyler, MRM and Saatchi – the first Romanian winners at Golden Drum 2013

Golden Drum 2013 announced a first series of winners at this year’s edition of the festival. According to Wednesday’s list of winners, Romania has quite a few awards for now.

The agencies present among the first designated winners at this year’s Golden Drum are: GMP and Webstyler (Grand Prix), McCann Erickson Romania and MRM (Golden Drum and 5 Silver Drums), while Saatchi & Saatchi Romania got a Golden Drum.

Congratulations to Gandul.info for courage. We dared and we won! It isn’t a coincidence that the first Grand Prix received by GMP Advertising comes from digital communication area. Communication industry is changing and we cannot stay aside, as spectators, but we contribute to change. Starting this year, GMP started to explore as much as possible the digital communication area. The campaign for Gandul.info and this appreciation with Grand Prix in Digital Campaigns confirms the value of the team also when it comes of digital competencies.  We won this prize in Digital Campaigns, a category where the most important ingredient is the engagement. In this campaign, Romanians offered their couches to strangers, through a couchsurfing app, and this is maybe the strongest form of engagement ever created in a Romanian brand campaign. I am glad that, together with GMP, we manage to make this memorable campaign and that Webstyler continues to be the most appreciated Romanian digital agency at international level

On October 9th, Golden Drum’s Single Channel and Multi Channel Juries announced the first winners of the 20^th Golden Drum festival and awarded 21 Silver Drums, 13 Golden Drums and 7 Grand Prix Awards (in groups D, G, H, N, S, T, R and U of the competition).
