Most visible HoReCa brands in Romania in H1 2014

Romanian HoReCa segment ran, between January 1st and June 30th, 26,447 commercials.

McDonald’s takes the leader position in fast food category, with 13,263 ads in H1 2014, with a rate card estimated value of Euro 16.23M. Second is KFC – 4.963 ads worth Euro 7.66M at rate card, while Subway is on 3rd place with 650 ads worth Euro 555,730 at rate card.

In H1, Pizza Hut had 2.767 ads with a rate card value of Euro 3.62M, ranking first among pizzerias, followed by Presto Pizza – 632 ads with a rate card value of Euro 180.376 euro and Speed Pizza – 113 ads worth Euro 69,445 at rate card.

The top of the most visible restaurants is leaded by Hard Rock Cafe  (783 ads with Euro 203,969 rate card value), followed by Siegfried Beer House (413 ads worth Euro 111,076 at rate card), Trattoria Don Vito is the second most visible restaurant in terms of commercials, with 404 ads worth Euro 100.836 at rate card, while Hanul Hangiței had 346 ads worth Euro 446.000 at rate card.

The 1st place among coffee and tea houses is occupied by Adevarul Tea House – 60 ads worth Euro 164.199 at rate card, The Institute caffee – 3 ads and Euro 5.175 rate card. Cafe Louis is in top with 3 ads worth Euro 14.400 at rate card, while Paul Bakeries had 135 ads worth Euro 34.310 at rate card.

Fast food chains had 18,955 ads in the first half of the year, followed by pizzerias – 3.571 ads, restaurants – 2.922 adss, coffee shops – 860 ads and sweets shops – 139 ads

Between January 1st – June 30th, there were 26.447 ads promoting food/HoReCa cateory, from which 21.374 on TV, 4.603 on radio and 470 in printed press. Among the sources that disseminated the most commercials were Kiss TV (4.135 ads),  Sport.ro (2.933), România TV (2.086),  Radio Zu (1.627), Magic FM ( 1.360), Șapte Seri –supplement (217).
