Image PR, one of the first PR agencies founded on Romanian market, celebrates 20 years of activity on the market. The agency is a local and independent one, and maintained permanently in the top of Romanian communication companies due to its portfolio of clients, to the services it offers, visibility of its projects and financial results.

Practically, we had the privilege that, together with other colleagues from the industry, to educate, to impose quality standards, to establish correct practices and to contribute to the building of a solid communication industry that we will develop further on

Image PR is one of the pioneers of Romanian communication industry and constantly innovated in distinct areas of the business, from inventing or implementing specific PR practices or launch the first specialized divisions / departments on the local communication market to business models that contributed to the development of the Romanian communication industry.

Starting 1998, it was the first agency who introduced activities in the media newsrooms, introducing a new concept on the Romanian market, that of PR Blitz. Moreover, it  is also one of the first PR agencies that, in 1999, ad its own creative department and who developed over years its own specialized departments (production, events) and even specialized divisions (such is Healthcare Communications, announced in 2014).

Image PR was nominated in 2008 for IPRA Golden Awards, the most prestigious PR competition at international level, for a Coca-Cola campaign.

The agency also implemented the strategy of promoting its employees to the partner status, by offering them shares within the company. In 2008, Iulia Tanase became Managing Partner at Image and, this year, after 10 years of working within the firm, Catrinel Burghelea became the third partner in the agency.

Over the time, the agency developed and implemented over 3,500 communication projects for 82 companies from different areas of activity and industries. In 1997, Image signed the first long term contract with Coca-Cola, client that is part of agency’s portfolio also now. The continuity of the clients in its portfolio is one of the characteristics of Image PR and the average period since Image works with its client is of 5 years. Moreover, 75% of company’s turnover comes from existent clients, partners of the agency during the last 5-15 years.

We believe in long term partnerships and this is reflected also in the long term collaborations we have with our clients. In our profession, remarkable results and reputation are built in time, with integrated communication programs.

Over 20 years, 256 communication professionals – some leading now other agencies or communication departments in Romanian or international companies – worked for Image PR. The agency underwent different organizational transformations over the years, relocated its headquarters six times and rebranded in 2008

According to Paius, the main element for business’ success was always the team: started initially with 4 people it reached to 53 in 2001 and maintained to around 30 during the last couple years. “Today, we are 26 people, from which 21 communication consultants, most formed as professionals within the agency, with an average experience of 7 years within the company. One of us works for the agency since founding and the newest one already has 2 years since becoming a part of the team”, Paius added.

Image PR achieved local and international recognition for its projects and has a collection of 40 awards and nominations in competitions like IPRA Golden World Awards, SABRE Awards, EFFIE Awards and Romanian PR Award.
