The Global Awards Young Globals Student Competition & Internship Program Announces Finalists

Creativity, Festivals & Awards

The Global Awards℠  Young Globals Student Competition & Internship program has announced the 2015 Finalists. The Young Globals is the only college/portfolio school competition for healthcare advertising that offers students an opportunity to submit their creative work, the chance to earn a prestigious Global Award, and the experience to test drive their career in healthcare advertising. Launched to identify and recognize emerging creative talent from around the world, Young Globals introduces students to the rewards of working in the healthcare and wellness advertising industry.

The 2015 Young Globals Finalists:

  • Samantha Cable – “Phone Zone” Australia
  • Rajath Ramamurthy – “A Sleeve to Remember” Miami Ad School, USA
  • Wilen Aloe, Brian Hodes, Pilar McQuirter, Antonia Perez, and Sarah Vonderhaarr – “Eat Smart” Columbia College Chicago, USA

Our goal is to make healthcare advertising a destination career, one that attracts the world’s brightest and most creative young talent. That won’t happen by creating a student competition alone (…) What makes the Young Globals unique is the prize for those who are selected as winners, a paid internship at a leading healthcare agency. We are grateful to McCann Health and Ogilvy Healthworld for a creative brief this year that inspired Global Award-caliber thinking.

Robin Shapiro,

Global Awards Chairperson and President/CCO, Corbett USA

Students achieving finalist status will be interviewed by Global Awards Young Globals sponsoring agencies’ international award-winning healthcare advertising chief creative officers Jeremy Perrott, global chief creative officer, McCann Health and Scott Watson, chief creative officer of Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide.

The 2015 Global Awards partner sponsors, McCann Health and Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide support the competition as official corporate sponsors and will mentor the emerging young creatives by providing internship opportunities to this year’s winning teams.

Young Globals award winners will receive a Global Award and be given the opportunity to experience a paid internship with a minimum of one month, based on their availability, at one of the sponsoring healthcare advertising agencies.

The 2015 Young Globals winners will be announced in the coming weeks. To learn more about the Young Globals competition click: here.
