Grayling is Eastern European PR Consultancy of the Year

Festivals & Awards

Grayling was awarded Eastern Europe PR Consultancy of the Year 2016 at last night’s EMEA SABRE Awards Gala in Berlin.

The jury highlighted the consultancy’s contribution to the development of the PR market in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), the strength of the network in the region (10 offices employing 170 consultants) which allows the agency to handle “some of the most interesting regional assignments” and the fact that Grayling has continued to thrive in CEE while some competitors have been forced to scale back. The jury also emphasized the importance of Public Affairs as a major growth driver for Grayling in CEE.

“This award is more than a reflection of the last 12 months. It’s the result of more than 20 years of hard work to build and sustain a network in Central & Eastern Europe which can match the standards set by the very best consultancies in Western Europe and the US. We are still best known for multi-country work in the region, and it’s true that we are working with most of our clients in more than one CEE country, but I am glad that the jury also recognised our strength in Public Affairs as that is now responsible for almost half of our revenues in CEE” – said Jan Simunek, CEO of Grayling in Continental Europe.
