Romania at Cannes Lions 2016: 2 bronzes, 1 silver + 7 new shortlists

At last night’s gala, Romania won 2 bronzes and 1 silver in the Promo & Activation category. The silver goes to Publicis for the ACR Street View Test, while both bronzes go to McCann Bucharest for Bittersweet Pies (Paul Restaurants) and Go Mono (Radio 21).

Today’s shortlists, in the Creative Data and Media categories, come from the already coveted McCann with 5 and Publicis with 2.

Publicis gets both nominations in Media, with the Shop like a Jedi campaign for Carrefour.

McCann gets 2 more nominations for Bittersweet pies, one in Creative Data and one in Media. Another 2 nominations in Media were awarded to Pay with Blood and 1 to Brave Cut.

This brings the total number of shortlists so far to 23, out of which 2 were awarded bronze and 1 silver, while there’s also high hopes for tonight’s gala.
