Tech and management consultancy BearingPoint invites students to join “Be an innovator” competition of ideas and start-ups. The company looks for projects to match the “Go digital” motto and it offers prizes worth in total €12,000. Moreover, the winning team will benefit of help from BearingPoint experts for a year in order to implement its project. Students from universities and business schools in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Romania can register their idea for durable projects and projects benefiting the future at www.bearingpoint.com/beaninnovator and can send an application by March 31st at innovator@bearingpoint.com

After receiving all the projects, BearingPoint will analyze them and select the finalists who will present their ideas to a jury selected by the company, on May 5th. The winners will be announced during a special festivity, during which they will also be handed their prizes. Moreover, the event offers young developers a good opportunity to exchange ideas with other start-ups, but also with BearingPoint’s partners and instructors.

Through the competition, the consultancy reiterates its involvement in helping talented and creative young people to finance larger projects in digital. The company is mainly interested in long term partnerships.

The recent competitions showed how big is the innovation and creativity potential students have. By integrating Romania in this action, we open new horizons which enrich all the participants. By focusing on digitalization, we are getting close to the main problems of the society and economy. Students get access to a direct connection with the challenges our clients are facing so I am happy we will have the opportunity to identify the solutions together
