24th Golden Drum announces first speakers

24th edition of Golden Drum, scheduled to take place in Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana on October 18-20, announced the first speakers to this year’s event. They are Michael Conrad – President Berlin School of Creative Leadership Foundation (Germany), Marco Cremona – Creative Lead Google Russia, Fernando Vega Olmos – Founder & Chief Creative Officer Picnic Madrid (Spain).

Founder of The Berlin School of Creative Leadership, a global EMBA business school for creative leadership in creative industries Michael Conrad, an honorary member of the Golden Drum Hall of Fame, has an exceptional career behind him. Michael started as copywriter, then became Creative Director and founded TBWA Germany. After that he has co-founded agency Lürzer, Conrad, later merged with Leo Burnett Germany. In 1986, Michael moved to Chicago to become President and Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett International and 10 year later he was appointed Vice Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Leo Burnett Worldwide.

  • Marco Cremona, Creative Lead, Google, Russia

Marco Cremona has worked in the advertising business for 25 years. He started off at McCann Milan, and then moved to Leo Burnett and Lowe. He moved to Brazil and worked for Lowe. Later he went to Moscow and worked for McCann and then for Young & Rubicam. Marco became a global creative director for Barilla. He then joined Google as Creative Lead for Russia and part of the EMEA Creative Lab. He contributed to the win of the first 2 Cannes Lions ever for the Russian Google office and just recently joined the London Creative Lab.

  • Fernando Vega Olmos, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Picnic Madrid, Spain

Fernando Vega Olmos, creator of iconic campaigns for all continents, became Creative Director of Gowland, back then the largest advertising agency in Argentina very young, at age 25. He founded Vegaolmosponce, an agency that rapidly became iconic due his, nationally and internationally, awarded work for Unilever’s AXE. His work for AXE stands out, receiving the first Integrated Lion at the Cannes Festival. During three decades he has won all of the most prestigious advertising awards. In March 2014, he founded Picnic as Chief Creative Officer.
