Romanian Patients College Association to develop a digital platform to manage Romanian patients’ records

Business, CSR, Digital & Media

Romanian Patients College Association will develop a digital platform to manage Romanian patients’ records, in partnership with DB Global Technology.

Thousands of Romanians need to access medical services for emergencies, prosthetics or medicine in order to be able to return to a normal life or to even save their life. For them, with support from a group of hearty volunteers from DB Global Technology, we are building an IT platform capable to manage at national level the collection of data regarding the patients and their needs

Cristian Sas,

President Patients College Association

The platform will allow patients to sign in directly in different registers, depending their needs, and doctors will be able to register their patients. Also, with platform’s help, clinics and hospitals will be able to organize groups of doctors who would introduce the patients in those registers. The info collected this way will be made available to the Romanian Health Insurance National House and to the Health Ministry, in order to help prioritizing the funds allocations in terms of importance and emergency

Angela Pernes,

Executive Director Patients College

I am proud of all our colleagues who contributed with their time and knowledge to this initiative. This kind of projects, offering us the opportunity to use our expertise to save and improve lives, give a special meaning to our activity

Marian Popa,

General Manager DB Global Technology

The registries and data bases dedicated to the patients are representing key instruments to develop clinical studies (especially when it comes of rare diseases) and to increase the level of medical care and planning.
