The 2017 IAA Global Conference to focus on Power of Creativity

Two full days of unrivaled inspiration: that’s the aim behind the 2017 IAA Global Conference “Creativity Can Change The World”, as the full agenda is revealed.

The first day of the conference (Oct.24th) will bring on stage 12 speakers and will host the “Creativity and Technology” panel. A “start-as-you-mean-to-go-on” kick off to the event with Robbie Douek (VP The Walt Disney Company), followed by Jacelyn Swenson (Head of Branded Content and Global Creative Team IBM), who will  talk about Using Creativity to Connect.

Shun Matsuzaka (founder McCann Millennials) will share his experience on co-creation and how can we use technology to boost human creativity, while Marco Cremona (Creative Lead Google London) will speak about Communicating in the Goldfish Era.

Other speakers are Elena Kudryashova (VP P&G South East Europe),  Adrian Botan (Global Executive Creative Director McCann WorldGroup), Yasuharu Sasaki (Head of Digital Creative & ECD Dentsu Tokyo), Vineet Gupta (CEO DDB Mudra). Thea Skelton, Festival Director Dubai Lynx will bring a MENA perspective on creativity, while Mihai Barsan, VP Marketing Ursus Breweries will bring us back to Romanian creative landscape.

The “Creativity and Technology” panel will include: Chris McCarthy (Head of Creative Strategy, The ZOO, Google EMEA), Errol Baran (SVP Business Development and Innovation, BBC Advertising), Sasan Saeidi (CEO Gulf, J. Walter Thompson) and Ralf Luelsdorf (Head of International Music Marketing, Deutsche Telekom)

The first day of 2017 IAA Global Conference will be closed by Bechara Mouzannar, CCO Publicis Communications MEA, talking about “Brands@Crossroads: Inspire or Die” and Carlo Cavallone, Executive Creative Director, 72andSunny Amsterdam: “Don’t just preach, practice”.

The second day of the Conference will focus on how creativity can improve practices in the educational and post-graduate academic system. The start will belong to Loredana Padurean, Associate Dean at the Asia School of Business, followed by David Slocum, professor and Faculty Director Berlin School of Creative Leadership.

The “Creativity and Education” panel will include: Niklas Frings-Rupp – Business Owner, Miami Ad School, Charlotte Williams – Festival Director Eurobest & Content Director Cannes Lions, Jamie Brassett – Reader in Philosphy, Design and Innovation; co-research Leader, Culture and Enterprise Program, University of Arts London and Dragos Iliescu – Doctor in Psychology, founder of BRIO.ro. The speakers’ line-up will also include Cristian Hatu, Chair Person Center for Assessment and Educational Analysis, James Murphy, co-founder of Adam&Eve DDB, Deirdre McGlashan, Global Chief Digital Officer MediaCom and Valer Hancas, VP Global Compact Network Romania.

The day will conclude with a conversation between Tom Standage, Deputy Editor The Economist and the WOZ,  Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple .

IAA Global Conference “Creativity Can Change The World” is organized by the International Advertising Association Romania together with Bucharest City Hall, through ARCUB Cultural Center.
