HemoTreat H – range extension, promoted creatively by DDB Romania

HemoTreat H, Romanian producer of cremes and unguents for the treatment of hemorrhoids, expands the production line by launching a new product in the range: the suppository. The event is marked by the launch of the image campaign signed by the advertising agency DDB Romania.

On a very diverse and competitive marketing, but at the same time a very “arranged” one, of the products for the treatment of hemorrhoids, and a creatively insipid one, the DDB team proposed itself to offer a campaign that will stand put in the advertising break and that will leave behind the cliche <<I tried and it was wonderful. Do the same!>>”.

For us it was very important to communicate the new range of products, extended with a new family member, the suppositories’ package. It was the perfect opportunity to communicate something out of the ordinary and out of the category’s cliche that is full of testimonies and generic scenes from image data bases. The agency thought exactly like us and resulted an approach that we haven’t seen before on the market, one that is relevant for the target and fresh, from a visual point of view,” said Andreea Dima, Marketing Manager Global Treat.

Therefore, in the new campaign DDB tells a beautiful and relaxed story in which the chair is the main visual element and the center of attention, alongside the product, and that describes perfectly how different and yet the same is the target of this product.

We started from a classic observation for the category, that we took further on. We imagined how would look the world in which people cannot sit down, due to the hemorrhoids’ problem. Empty enough, came the answer. From all points of view. And that because most of our activities, passions, habits take place on chairs. The next step was a natural one: to encourage the people to leave the embarrassment behind and to re-conquer the places that they deserve, with HemoTreat H,”  explained Stefan Vasilachi, Creative Director DDB Romania.

The campaign benefits of a TVC that rolls nationwide and also on cinemas, as well as of OOH executions at metro stations, online banners and branding in pharmacies. The campaign created in Romania will be taken to international markets where HemoTreat H is present at the moment, such as Moldavia, Bulgaria and Hungary.
