IAA YP – Romanian chapter launched CompetitIAA8

IAA Young Professionals Romanian chapter (IAA YP) announced the start of the entry period for the 8th edition of CompetitIAA, a competition which gives the students with a passion for marketing and communication the possibility to be part of a pitch simulation for renown brands from Romania and to earn prizes; moreover, they have the chance to get an internship or even a job if the companies are noticing them.

During CompetitIAA, students have the chance to work like an agency for a real client, to learn which are the steps to follow to win a pitch and to see their ideas implemented. During this learning process, we are offering the environment in which they will develop, we facilitate the access to mentors represented by seniors from the industry and we organize dedicated workshops so they can acquire as much useful info and insights. We are happy this is the 3rd year when we organize CompetitIAA together with our colleagues from Cluj. We wish good luck to the teams who enter the competition

The event takes place simultaneously in 2 main Romanian cities, Bucharest and Cluj, and targets all young people that wish to come with creative solution to solve real needs from real companies. The companies that came up with briefs for the contestants are BRD, Azuga Nepasteurizata, Sykes, Yardi, Eventador, Steelcase and Bombardier.

The entries in the competition can be submitted online by October 21st. After the initial selection, the remaining competitors will form teams of 3-5 members, each with their own IAA YP mentor that will provide them with all the needed information and materials. The teams will receive their briefs, undergo debriefing and will have 2 weeks to solve them. After presenting their solutions and after those are analyzed by project’s partners, the competition will end with a gala during which the best teams will receive awards worth €3,500
