Hervé Brossard joins Sid Lee Paris as Chairman Europe

Business, Creativity, People

Sid Lee Paris, subsidiary of the advertising network belonging to Japanese communication group Hakuhodo DY Holdings, announced the appointment of Hervé Brossard to the newly-created position of Chairman Europe. In this new role, Hervé Brossard will work closely with the Parisian directors in order to strengthen and develop operations focused on the agency’s growth in France and Europe.

Hervé Brossard spent a large part of his advertising career at Omnicom Group, with DDB, and was appointed President of Omnicom Media Group in July 2008, a position he took on while continuing in his role as Executive VP of DDB Worldwide. Today, Hervé Brossard is returning to his first love, advertising, and is joining one of the most creative, noteworthy brands in the world, Sid Lee Paris.

Sid Lee Paris, which counts over 90 employees, recently re-located to new, larger offices and serves clients such as Honda, KFC, Red Bull, Nike, Skyn, Musée du Futur of Dubaï, Netflix, and Moët & Chandon.  Sid Lee’s Paris office is headed by Sylvain Thirache, Executive Creative Director and founder of Sid Lee Paris, and Johan Delpuech, President. Both began their careers at DDB and have maintained a close relationship with Hervé Brossard since. Together, they aim to increase the agency’s growth in France and boost the brand’s development in Europe.

After 40 years with the Omnicom Group, I am proud to join Sid Lee, one of the most talented advertising brands in the world. Sid Lee operates on a new model that relies on collectives of multidisciplinary talents. In my new position, I will be entirely dedicated to giving Sid Lee Paris an international dimension to support its clients worldwide

 Hervé Brossard

Hello everyone, we’re happy to announce the arrival of Hervé Brossard, as well as his assistant Florence Kesler to sid lee Paris this week.

We’ve been close to Hervé for over 20 years now. He was one of the architects of the DDB group, where he became CEO for DDB France, then rose in the ranks in Europe, then globally… before becoming president of Omnicom Media Group.

We’ve always had a strong connection with Hervé. Ever since the opening of the agency back in February 2009, he’s been one of our strongest supporters. Over these last 10 years, he’s been a sage, friendly and benevolent advisor. His advice was key to our development.

That’s why it seemed so natural to solidify these bonds, join our thoughts. Hervé is joining sid lee Paris as Chairman for Europe where he will continue the work he’s already undertaken through his advice and mentoring, and, above all, to reinforce the sid lee Paris office on their European positioning, as well as YARD and our affiliations.

We’re here to surprise, that’s why this is an important moment in sid lee Paris’s history and sid lee globally. The start of another chapter
