Impact Hub brings to Bucharest the regional final of Central European Startup Awards 2019

Bucharest will host one of the most important regional events for start-ups, reuniting representatives of 10 countries from Central and Eastern Europe for the 6th edition of Central European Startup AwardsImpact Hub Bucharest is the official partner of the event, organizing the national leg and the regional final of the competition.

Central European Startup Awards is a competition targeting start-ups that have products and services based on innovative tech solutions. The competition is organized in Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Servia, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary, with the winners of the national stages to compete at regional level; the award winners will be announced during an event organized this year in partnership with Impact Hub, in Bucharest.

 

Impact Hub is competition’s national partner in Romania since 2016 and 2 of the start-ups were also awarded at regional level in 2018, Instant Factoring and Mondly. Over the time, at the national competition, among the national winners were UiPath Romania (3 awards in 2017 – Startup of the Year, Founder of the Year and  Best AI Startup), URADMonitor (Best IoT Startup and Best Smart City Solution), and Mira Rehab (winner of the global competition in 2016 within the Best Social Impact Startup category).

We are organizing the national stage of CESA in Romania since 2016 and this first of the big regional final organized in Bucharest represents a good opportunity to connect and regional visibility for entrepreneurs and the partners of the event, and also a very important tactic to position Romania as an important entrepreneurial eco-system in the region. We are happy for this partnership and ready to offer a positive experience to both the participants in the competition and to those who will visit us for the Final
