LILIAC Winery presented the new label for young.LILIAC, the 2018 edition

Business, Innovation

The new label of the young.LILIAC wines, the 2018 edition, was officially presented last week during an event that took place at Halucinarium|Triaj Creativ, one of the newest experimental spaces in Bucharest. The label was chosen following the annual contest in which more and more young creative are challenged to image the label for the best year, starting from the brand’s premises.

The contest’s seven edition came with a new concept – “Label The Unlabeled” – meant to encourage the surpassing of the creative limits. The challenge launched by the LILIAC winery had as an objective the identification of the new label for the young.LILIAC range, the 2018 harvest.

This year’s label, chosen by the Beck family from a selection of 400 proposed labels, highlights the young.LILIAC essence. A wine created for the courageous youngsters to discover the wine’s universe that have an active social life and appreciate the quality.

I am one of the young ones, with free mind, without biases and labels. I chose my road with my heart, following the wine’s path and entering this fascinating industry from pure passion. young.LILIAC is about that and even more. It’s about learning to discover who you truly are, what are your values, about trust in your own capabilities, about being free and courageous, always searching to gain something better from the life. Us, at Liliac, we believe in the big talent and the power of the young generation’s voice. The young.LILIAC wine is dedicated to them and is wonderful to see such a great potential, creativity and free thinking. This is the reason we created the young.LILIAC contest that develops more and more one year from another, and we, as a team, we want to see the creative proposals, to see so many ideas and inspired concepts, some of them very funny, some not understandable. We can feel the grown interest among the young designers and we appreciate very much their work. We are proud that they can identify themselves with the brand that we have been creating through the last seven years. Choosing the winner was not an easy task, but eventually, the choice was very clear – Ana’s design is the boldest in our eyes,” said Miron Radic, CEO Liliac Winnery.

The winning creative proposal belongs to Ana Banica, an extremely talented young woman that graduated from the University of Architecture and Urbanism Ion Mincu. The new label presents perfectly the brand’s values: urban, cool, nonconformist, free.
