UM Romania scooped 3 accolades at Festival of Media Global

This week, UM Romania was the only agency from Romania who won, in Rome, 3 awards out of 6 shortlists during Festival of Media Global: Silver in Use of technology with Study Coin (KFC), Silver in Use of Traditional Media with Deforestation Beat (Virgin Radio) and Bronze in Use of Content for Bihor Couture (Beau Monde).

The campaigns were made together with McCann Bucharest and MRM/McCann Bucharest.

We are proud UM Romania is, for the 4th year in the row, on the podium of the most prestigious media competition, Festival of Media Global, and that we ended up in this year’s final with 5 campaigns. 3 of them got the jury’s attention due to innovation, creativity and integration of tech in a local cultural context (…) UM si McCann Romania reconfirm they are among the best creative offices at international level within the IPG network

The judging experience at this level is truly impressive, both when it comes of the level of jury’s competencies and the alert rhythm. Evaluating and debating the best campaigns in the world, centered on brands with international fame or impressive causes, grouped in categories with over 10 finalists, usually a consensus is reached, looking for a strong and relevant insight to the cultural context activated in a surprising manner. The competition is extremely drastic, each category awarding just one prize for one place on the podium.
