I always believed that Romania is excelling within this industry and I am terribly happy to be part of it. From the moment I’ve worked in the first agency, I knew that I don’t necesarely wish for another profession and that it is not a temporary choice. So what I can tell is that I am one of those people that are pure and simple happy with what they are doing. In general, my time is dedicated to briefs in my hands, even if my friends and family only partially understand this choice.

It is somewhat flattering to be on the list of the best young creatives in Europe and I am happy I was selected. I only hope to have a highly productive meeting, many atypical solutions for the brief and to do from that a new learning method that I can share with you once everything ends

Raluca Circo,

Senior Art Director McCann Worldgroup Romania

Raluca Circo is Senior Art Director McCann Bucharest and ADC RO – Art Director of the Year 2019. Raluca studied Graphical Design at UNARTE and was Web Designer and Head of Design in agencies like Leo Burnett, MRM//McCann or Jazz Communication. She became Senior Art at McCann, where her daily purpose is to find the best representations for each brief that ends up on her to do list. She believes that – no matter job’s title – the purpose of her projects is to give a coherent graphical form to each idea with potential. She also believes that the graphical execution is never final until the end of the project and things need to be improved constantly until the editable version is handed over. In present, this modus operandi is applied in the try to remake her entire portfolio to date.

The workshop takes place in several work groups, mentored by prestigious creative directors such are:

  • Marjorieth Sanmartin – Global Creative Director Grey Germany
  • Susana Albuquerque – President Clube Criativos de Portugal
  • Marlon Shoudesh von Franquemont – Senior Creative Innocean Worldwide Europe (Berlin)
  • Aleksandrs Bētiņš – Creative Director & partner Not Perfect Riga | Y&R&LADC President;
  • Liene Bērziņa – Creative Director DDB Latvia
  • Jana Savič Rastovac – Executive Creative Director McCann Beograd
  • Hans Peter Albrecht – Creative Partner The Wunderwaffe & Creative Express Director
  • Charlotte Bufler, CCO The Wunderwaffe.

I applied for Creative Express without knowing more than what I’ve been told by Dani Macarie (Creative Director Ogilvy &Mather) and, afterwards, Google, with the same courage with which I reached all creative playgrounds until now. I am curious when and how my mind will run after seeing the brief, seeing that I will put it to work in a place that’s full of stimuli. And of cool people with so different backgrounds. And on my birthday. Yes. May God help!

Diana Mitrica,

Copywriter Ogilvy Romania

Diana Mitrica graduated ADC School in 2017 and, from there, landed a shortlist at Cannes Future Lions. She works as a creative for almost 4 years, period during which she also play with directing and editing.

Same as during previous editions, the participants are under 28 years old and have at least 2 years of experience in advertising. The 7 previous editions of Creative Express took place in Lisbon (2018), Roma (2017), Helsinki and Tirol (2015), Munchen and Amsterdam (2014) and Innsbruck-Viena (2013).
