Metallica donated €250,000 for a Romanian health project oriented towards children with cancer

All Within My Hands foundation, founded by the legendary rock band Metallica, announced a quarter million Euro donation towards Romanian Daruieste Viata (Give Life) Association’s project, #NoiFacemUnSpital (Webuildahospital). Together with its own contribution of €50,000, the rock band also directed €200,000, the value of Main Sponsor package for band’s Bucharest concert, insured by Mastercard and BCR.

The announcement was made the day Metallica had, on National Arena in Bucharest, a concert part of the WorldWired Tour 2019. Inspired by the €1M donated by Mastercard for the same project, Metallica’s contribution will add to the funds dedicated to buy for the hospital the newest tech and medical equipment.

The donation made by the members of Metallica has a special signification for our project. On one side, their music manages to inspire millions of Romanians and, in the same time, many of those are inspired to contribute to the founding of the first Hospital of Pediatric Oncology and Radio-Therapy in Romania, in order to give the children suffering from cancer a chance to life. On the other hand, Mastercard’s donation, who offered €1M for #NoiFacemUnSpital initiative, motivated Metallica to adhere our cause.
