Druid, designated Start-Up of the Year in CEE

Business, Start Up

Druid, company specialized in developing intelligent virtual assistents, was designated The Start-Up of the Year in CEE during CESA 2019, ceremony organized this year in Bucharest. Druid will represent CEE at Global Startup Awards, scheduled to take place in China, on December 11-14.

CESAwards is one of the most important competitions dedicated to tech start-ups. CESAwards has the mission to inspire the entrepreneurial system by recognizing the companies with the highest growth and most disruptive technologies. From over 5,500 nominees from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, only 13 companies went on the stage in the final. The big prize went to Druid.

CESAwards is part of Global Startup Awards, global competition that brings into the spotlight the most daring tech solutions who generate radical changes. Global Startup Awards aims to democratize ideas and techs developed by startups, ecosystems, hubs and tech incubators in 7 regions: Nordics (Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway), South Europe (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Malta), Euroasia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine), South Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldive, Nepal, Sri Lanka), Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodgia), Southern Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania, Angola, Malawi, Mauritius, Madagascar, Congo, Seychelles, Lesotho) and CEE.

A recognition at this level brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction. The award belongs to an extraordinary team, dedicated body and soul to a simple idea – to make available for everyone a virtual assistent. We thank to the partners, clients, investors, jury and all those who showed us their trust and desire to be close to us in this journely

Liviu Drăgan,

CEO Druid.
