SMYK All for Kids opened two stores on november 27 and ends the year with 37 units nationwide

The retailer specialized in toys, accessories, and clothing for children is opening two new stores on November 27: one in Odorheiu Secuiesc and the second in Brașov. The openings will be marked by promotions and activities dedicated to children, already well known from SMYK events.

“The simultaneous opening of two stores marks the completion of our expansion plans for 2025. With these, the number of new units this year reaches four, joining the stores inaugurated in Iași – Mall Moldova and Balotești – DN1 Value Centre. In the context of an unpredictable economic climate, we are pleased to have strengthened our presence and achieved our strategic development objectives for this year,” says Sorin Stancu, General Manager of SMYK All for Kids Romania.

The store in Odorheiu Secuiesc is located in Riverside Retail Park, 4 Sportului Street, while the new unit in Brașov is in the Coresi Shopping Center, 1 Zaharia Stancu Street.

In addition to the four store openings, in 2025 SMYK All for Kids also directed investments toward the refurbishment of five other stores in its Romanian network, offering customers an improved experience and an environment adapted to current retail trends.

“Consumer behavior reflects an increased focus on the price–quality ratio, including in the children’s products segment, a segment strongly influenced by emotion. Consequently, we responded to these needs by adapting our product offer and providing multiple opportunities for convenient purchases through promotions and campaigns carried out across our entire network,” states Alexandra Crețan, Marketing Director, SMYK All for Kids.

November 27–30: Reward days for customers in the two new stores

Continuing the tradition of recent years, SMYK Odorheiu Secuiesc and SMYK Brașov Coresi will host, in their first days after opening, children’s activities and prize campaigns:

• In each new store, the first 100 customers who make a purchase between November 27–30 will receive a free plush teddy bear.
• Customers who sign up for the SMYK loyalty program following a purchase during this period will receive a surprise gift.
• On each of the four days, between 12:00 and 18:00, both stores will host activities loved by children from the SMYK universe: face painting and balloon modeling.

The product range available in the new SMYK All for Kids stores includes children’s clothing, footwear and accessories, childcare products, as well as interactive and educational toys for all ages, both under its own SMIKI brand and from well-known global brands such as LEGO, Mattel, Hasbro, etc.

With these two openings on November 27, SMYK All for Kids will conclude its 16th year of activity on the Romanian market with a network of 37 units across 25 counties, complemented by the online store.
