Ryan Reynolds is Coming to Romania for the First Time – Live on the IMPACT Bucharest Stage
IMPACT Bucharest has made a landmark announcement regarding its 2026 edition (29–30 September): Ryan Reynolds will join the event as a top speaker, marking his first official appearance in Romania.
One of Hollywood’s most recognizable and versatile leading men, Reynolds is a Golden Globe–nominated actor and the producer and star of the Deadpool franchise, a billion-dollar global phenomenon that redefined the superhero genre through humor, self-awareness, and unconventional storytelling.
Beyond film, Reynolds has become a widely cited example of a new kind of entrepreneur – one who combines creativity, speed, and authenticity. He is the co-owner of Aviation American Gin and a key investor in Mint Mobile, brands later acquired in landmark deals worth hundreds of millions and over a billion dollars. Through his creative company, Maximum Effort, Reynolds is also known for his rapid, real-time marketing approach, often referred to as fastvertising, including viral campaigns launched hours after major moments for brands.
At IMPACT Bucharest 2026, happening 29–30 September 2026, Reynolds will blend stories from film sets, conference rooms, and creative studios, sharing insights about creativity, leadership, and decision-making. He is also known for speaking openly about anxiety and how it has shaped his preparation, resilience, and approach to leadership — a perspective that resonates strongly in today’s high-pressure business and creative environments.
The Third Edition of Impact Bucharest
Impact has become a well-known brand throughout Europe. Impact events have been gathering business and political leaders, academic experts, and key commentators from the world of art and culture in Poland since 2016, The third Bucharest edition will be the largest and most important economic event in Southeastern Europe. It will offer a unique opportunity to watch and listen to the opinions of thought leaders on a wide range of topics and connect with business leaders from all over Europe.
In recent years, IMPACT Bucharest has welcomed globally recognized voices such as Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States, and Erin Meyer, one of the world’s most influential experts on management and organizational culture.
The organizers say that following the success of last year’s edition, this year’s will be even bigger and more dynamic. Approx. 2,000 participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Albania and other countries from the SEE region, Poland and the rest of Europe are expected to attend. This year, in addition to prominent experts and business leaders, there will be more representatives of the public sector from Romania and SEE such as city mayors, representatives of national government and EU agencies. There will be discussions about economic development, innovation, and the benefits to Romania and the region of connecting local, regional and global ecosystems. On the agenda will be topics ranging from defense and cyber security, green transformation, digitization, the future of cities, to development of the global economy and banking sector, leadership, health, marketing and digital commerce. The entire line up of speakers has not yet been revealed.
