Over 200M posts on WordPress

Blogging platform WordPress passed the milestone of 200M posts published and the numbers continue to go up, according to platform’s news.

According to WordPress’ stats, there were over 25 million WordPress publishers in June 2010, with 11,4M blogs hosted on WordPress.com and 13,8M active installations of the WordPress.org software.

As Quantcast statistics show, the WordPress.com blogs are read by over 260M people worldwide, that access over two billion pages on those blogs each month.

Blogs on WordPress are written in over 120 languages, English dominating the top 20 – 66%, followed by Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Italian, German, French, Russian, Vietnamese, Swedish, Turkish, Dutch, Greek, Polish, Thai, Hungarian, Mongolian, Arabic, Norwegian and Bulgarian.

Also, on WordPress there are published daily around 350,000 new posts.
