Google revamped Google News homepage with several changes designed to make the news more relevant to the ones that access them, to highlight interesting stories and to make it easier to share via social networks, according to Google’s official blog.

The main point of the new homepage is customized news, a stream of headlines automatically tailored to users interests and can be edited via an “Edit personalization” box. The users can choose to view stories by Section view or List view, and reveal more headlines by hovering over the headline with your mouse.

With the new changes, the users can also pick the news sources they trust, using News Settings. Google also added keyboard shortcuts for easier navigation, like in Gmail or Google Reader.

The redesigned Google News homepage is rolling out starting June 30th in English-language edition in the U.S. and will be expanded to all editions in the following month.
