Trip Journal was nominated for Webbys, for Best Travel App, joining the ranks with fellow nominees, Kayak Mobile, TripIt, Airbnb, and Conde Naste Traveller City Guide, iQuest announced.

As a nominee, Trip Journal is also eligible to win a Webby People’s Voice Award, which is voted online by the global Web community.

Winners will be announced on May 3rd, while the famous 5 words speeches gala ceremony will take place on June 13th.

This year, Webby Awards will be broadcast live to a global audience through a new partnership with MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), the interactive division of Major League Baseball.

Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 650-person judging academy whose members include Internet co-inventor Vinton Cerf, R/GA’s Chief Bob Greenberg, “Simpson’s” creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington, and Harvey Weinstein.
