Max Palla, IAA Austria president, will head Effie Romania 2011’s jury

Max Palla is IAA Austria president and will be the president at the 8th edition of Romanian Effies.

Palla started his ascension in furniture retail at Möbel Ludwig, where he coordinated the marketing department. Afterwards, he become Managing Director la Ogilvy & Mather Direct and, in the start of the ’90s, he founded the agency Palla, Koblinger& Partner (PKP Proximity).

He contributed to Austrian marketing industry development as a founder or shareholder of more marketing companies. In 1999, he joined BBDO Group, as  Partner & Managing Director BBDO Holding Austria.

In 2004, he left PKP and BBDO and founded Max Palla Consulting KG, and, in 2006, he become partener in httpool online Marketing Vienna.

He worked for a while with Jung Von Matt Hamburg, as CEE Coordinator, and, since 2007, he’s the president of IAA Austria.

Last year, Romanian Effie Jury was presided by James Miller, Head of International Planning, AMV BBDO.

Agencies and companies can enter works into the competition until May 23rd. The judging will take place on June 9th and 10th and the Awards Gala is programmed for June 13th.
