Romanian PR agency The Practice is, for the 4th year in a row, on shortlist at IPRA Golden World Awards.
After it was designated winner in “Consumer PR for an existing product” in 2010, for Gusto campaign, The Practice is nominated this year in “Social Media for PR”, for “Charge your batteries with Varta”
The program developed for Varta batteries already got recognition in competitions for its efficiency and creativity.
The nomination obtained this year in Social Media is making us happy also because the campaign was made just before we started our social media and blogger relation dedicated department, and was conceived by PR prope in the agency and not by online specialists.
“Charge your batteries with Varta” was one of our first complex social media campaign and, following its success, we developed a bigger affinity for digital, reaching to the decision of creating a specialized department. “Charge your Batteries with Varta” ran intensely for 3 months and included tactics on a variety of online channels, from Facebook and Twitter to forums, dedicated site and involvement of the most important Romanian bloggers, doubled by actions in traditional press and online pres.
The team that worked on the campaign included Gabriela Lungu – strategy and Floriana Cristea – implementation and client service. Cristian Manafu and Evensys were agency’s consultants in implementing the campaign.
IPRA Golden World Awards 2011 will designate its winners on June 17th, in Lisbon.
