Start for entries at Romanian PR Award

Romanian PR Award organizers announced the start for entries at the 9th edition of the competition. The entries can be submitted from September 5th until September 23rd.

This year’s edition of the competition comes with an international jury including well known and respected specialists, 15 new categories and the possibility to enter a campaign in more sections of the awards

This year’s competition categories are Corporate Communication, PR for marketing, Crisis Communication, Digital PR and Social media, Internal Communication, Social Responsability, Environment projects’ communication, Media Relations, Public Affairs/ Advocacy/ Lobby, Financial Communication, NGO-s, Civil Society, Public Communication, Financial Services and Products Communication, Medical Services and Products Communication, Budget – / Creativity +. In the same time, students can compete in Junior PR Award category.

Another new feature of this year’s awards is represented by launching new categories that recognize the excellence in conceiving and realizing instruments meant to facilitate the communication processes: Website / Intranet / Blog; Events; Internal Newsletter; Annual Report; Press Kit; External Publications; Sponsorships; video production.

The submitted projects will be judged in the first two weeks of October (1st-15th), while the Gala will take place on October 27th, at Parliament’s Palace.

In our long journey from the start until today, we gathered around us the best PR practitioners and researchers all over the world. We are very happy to present to you, today, the most diverse and most representative jury in competition’s history. Competition’s jury includes representatives  from agencies such as Edelman, Ketchum Pleon, Ogilvy, MSL GROUP, Freud Communication, Gagen MacDonald, GolinHarris, fischerAppelt, communication directors from Microsoft, McDonald’s Romania, BCR, Unilever, IKEA, Raiffeisen, Philips, Electrolux, Rompetrol, Ursus, Siemens, real ¬ Hypermarket, executives from local agencies such as McCann PR, Brandient, Graffiti PR and DC Communication, along with independent consultants, researchers and representatives of international organizations: US Institute for Public Relations (IPR), CSR Europe, International Communications Consultancy Organization (ICCO), AMEC and The Holmes Report.
