8 Romanian agencies, shortlisted at European Excellence Awards

Eight Romanian agencies are on this year’s shortlist at European Excellence Awards: The Practice, iLeo Marketing, Rogalski Grigoriu PR, GMP PR, GolinHarris, DC Communication, McCann PR and Graffiti PR, according to the shortlist.

European Excellence Awards 2011, celebrating the very best in communications and PR across Europe, is honouring outstanding PR and communications achievements both on a European and on a national level.

The Practice is shortlisted with 3 campaigns:  “Handover the Helmet” for Carpatcement Holding, in Change Communication category, “Crazy about Computers” for TechTeam Global in HR Communication and “Transparency is gold!” for Rosia Montana Gold Corporation in Issues and Reputation Management

GMP PR entered the finalist list at the awards with 2 campaigns: “Human Rights Day 2010” for United Nations Romania, in Government Agencies and Parties, and “News from the future” for Coco Popescu in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia category.

Shortlisted with one campaign each are iLeo Marketing Interactive (“Rediscover Romania” for OMV Petrom in Energy), Rogalski Grigoriu PR (Victoria 2020 for Siemens in Science and Education), GolinHarris (“Franklin Templeton Investments lists the Property Fund on the Bucharest Stock Exchange” for Franklin Templeton Investment in Financial Communication), DC Communication (“Raiffeisen Comunitati Grant Program” for Raiffeisen Bank in Blog), McCann PR Romania (“Coca Cola 125th Anniversary: 125 years of sharing happiness” for Coca-Cola Romania in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia) and Graffiti PR (“Maggi Academy” for Nestle Romania / Maggi in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia).

The awards gala will take place on December 8th, at Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam.

Last year, the fourth European Excellence Awards ceremony was held in Prague and attracted more than 1,450 entries.
