Senior management changes at Grayling Romania

Grayling announced changes in its senior management team, with Ana Dodea appointed  Director for  International Client Services Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and Cristi Cretan appointed General Manager Grayling Romania.

Ana and Cristi’s promotions are confirming once more their leadership skills and their exceptional contribution in developing Grayling Romania as a market leader. These changes are supporting out capabilities development both on local and regional level, and insure a continuity of our strategy to attract international clients, that are operating on multiple markets

Regional Director Central &Eastern Europe and South-Eastern Europe

Ana and Cristi will be directly reporting to Jan Simunek.

Following these changes, Anawill be responsible with developing new business strategies and operations growth in Central and Eastern Europe and South-Eastern Europe, and will also manage the existent regional accounts.  She will continue to be involved with the accounts existent in Romania, mainly in Public Affairs ones.

Ana has 11 years of experience in corporate communication and Public Affairs on Romanian market and regional markets. She has extensive expertize in local and international clients management, such as Nabucco, GE, E.ON, Tenaris, MOL, British Airways, Discovery Networks or Pokerstars. The new position in which Ana Dodea was appointed is also a way to recognize the role of the Romanian team in upgrading the local accounts to regional level.

During last couple years, Ana leaded the  Public Affairs, Corporate Communication, Healthcare and  Consumer&Broadcast teams and coordinated campaigns for energy, healthcare and financial industries.

Cristi Cretan has 19 years of experience in financial journalism, consultancy, lobby and senior management. Before joining Mmd/Grayling team in 2008, he worked for 8 years for Dow Jones Newswires, as director for Romanian branch, working constantly with The Wall Street Journal. Also, he gave business and communication consultance to many clients in Defence industry.

At Grayling, Cristi consolidated his expertise in areas such as lobby and crisis communication, mergers&aquisitions, financial PR and reputation management. Among the clients he worked with there are Visa Europe, GE, GE Energy, Groupama, Erste Bank, ING, Google, SES and others. Cristi finished the Journalism faculty at Bucharest University and has an MBA at Warwick Business School UK.
