Romanian PR Association’s president auto-suspends from job to run for a Senate place

Comm & Politics, PR

Sandra Pralong, president of Romanian PR Association – ARRP, announces she self-suspends from this job starting November 9th, as she runs for a place in Romanian Senate during the electoral campaign.

Pralong aims to win a Senator seat in Parliament representing Bucharest.

I decided to suspend myself because ARRP is a professional organisation, non-political and that I appreciate very much for its ambition to make professional public conversation in Romania. I thank my colleagues for their trust when they elected me as president. Today, I consider it is my duty to protect the Association from political implications that my participation to the elections could generate. For me is both important to communicate professionally in Romania, but also to have the same conduit in the political life, from where comes also my intention to become a member of the Parliament

Sandra Pralong Budiş.

With Sandra Pralong suspended from the Presidential role, ARRP will be managed by its 2 vice-presidents, Alina Dolea and Gabriel Paslaru.

Sandra Pralong suspended herself from ARRP management less than a year since she was elected to head the organization. With rich experience in PR, NGO and governmental, she was ARRP’s 6th president, after Liviu Muresan, Rodica Moisescu, Simona Miculescu, Dumitru Bortun and Rares Petrisor.
