Romanian Advertising Council (RAC) elected, on March 27th, its new president. Oana Cociasu, Managing Partner Lowe Medic One and representative for Lowe & Partners within the Council, takes over the position from Ecaterina Safarica, Communication Director Procter & Gamble Balkans, Turkey, Caucasus and Israel.
Besides being very honored by this appointment, I know it comes together with great responsibilities, diplomacy, determination and patience. I hope to bring a glimpse of creativity also in this field, although it seems one of the most restrictive in the industry we work for. In this direction, one of my missions as RAC President is related to a better representation of advertising companies within the council, at the highest level. I am glad I come prepared for this challenge, after so many years of activity within RAC – both as founding member and member of the Board
In over 19 years of working and accumulating experience in medical communication, Oana Cociasu combined successfully medicine and advertising. Cociasu graduated Medicine&Pharmacy University in Bucharest and intensive health advertising and communication classes in New York, Frankfurt and Viena. Oana Cociasu received, in November 2012, the Excellence Award for Clients Relations, awarded by IAA Romania.
