Over 1,500 participants from 8 countries in the region will be present in Bucharest for 2 days of conferences, presentations, networking and fun.
During the 1st day of the event, the stages from Grand Cinema Digiplex will be taken by a few “giants” such as Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Skype. They will be followed by presentations on the future of TV, held by representatives from Youtube, BBC, DG Mediamind, HBO GO, Discovery Channel, SeeNow, Kanal D, but also by the session that will reunite the creators of some of the most impressive viral campaigns.
Among the creatives that will be present at the event are Geoffrey Hantson, de la Duval Guillaume Modem, the author of Carlsberg campaign “Standing up for a friend” or TNT’s “We know drama”, along with many successful virals.
An intensive workshop for people interested on YouTube phenomena – both as content producers and potential clients – and also for the people involved in political or performance marketing complete day’s agenda.
The evening will come with more relaxed themes, such as the relationship between artists/celebrities and the public, with guests such as Horia Brenciu, Marius Moga or Cabral, together with Facebook and Google representatives. Also during the 1st evening, IAB MIXX Awards will take place and award the best advertising campaigns of the year.
Private events such as CEO Masterclass – dedicated to top managers from big companies – or the exclusive party from “Casa Vernescu’ will end the 1st day.
The 2nd day, Friday, June 7th, will start with an incursion in online games and mobile music apps worlds, together with Nadeo – Ubisoft, Deezer or Facebook Mobile, on the main stage.
A training session signed by Tom Eslinger (Saatchi & Saatchi) and approaching creativity in mobile phone campaigns is another attraction point on ICEE’s agenda, completed with a new Cannes Predictions edition, organized by Leo Burnett.
Facebook’s team workshop will also attract a considerable audience, as it is the largest organized in Romania until now.
The day will continue with a series of presentations from big international digital agencies, among which the 72andSunny creatives, the authors of controversial UnHate campaign.
eCommerce is also heavily represented during ICEE’s day 2, with presentations from Facebook, Paypal, PayU and Google.
The festival will close with Viral Movie Night – a selection of the best, funniest or stupid videos that gathered millions of views over the internet.
A British stand-up comedy show signed by Jeff Leach will take place before the viral movies’ section.
ICEEfest is organized in partnership with Orange and with support from Microsoft – via Internet Explorer 10 and Windows 8 – and takes place on June 6-7, at Grand Cinema Digiplex (Baneasa Shopping City).
