GolinHarris Bucharest made a campaign for KFC Romania during which the fans of 3 Romanian celebrities were invited to use a Facebook app – “So good VIP@KFC” – in order to have lunch with their favorite stars.
Around 4,000 fans of the 3 Romanian celebrities – TV hosts Dani Otil & Razvan Simion and singer Connect-R – used the app to chose the VIP they wanted to have lunch with, with only 3 of them seeing their dream come true.
We developed this project so it could be a way to build a bridge between KFC fans and also between them and their favorite stars, creating this way a real interaction. On KFC Romania’s Facebook page there were thousands of fans that accepted our invitation, and the lunch meetings were an opportunity for discussions and socializing. The concept drafted and implemented by GolinHarris team brings together both KFC brand’s needs and, as we hope, the expectations of our consumers

First there was the “So good KFC patrol” visit in the most important university complexes in Bucharest, when KFC and GolinHarris teams knocked on the students’ doors and gave them savory Fillet Bites to cheer them up during the exams session. Now, there’s the time for “So good VIP@KFC”. It is a new idea from the communication platform So Good, thought as an integrated communication channel for each category of KFC products.
