International Advertising Association Romania (IAA Romania) and Romanian Union of Advertising Agencies (UAPR) announced the start of the entry period for the 11th edition of Romanian Effie Awards. The entries can be submitted between February 17th and June 6th.
We want a fine competition this year, especially as there are a few campaigns that shouldn’t miss from Effie 2014. Keeping in mind the suggestions received following past editions, we optimized the entry process, which we hope it will bring a record of participant and winning campaigns

To simplify the entry process, the Effie committee decided that, starting this year, all creative materials to be handed in only on digital support and not also on printed copies. This way, during the entry period, agencies can spend more time on writing their cases. Also, improvements are to be operated on the judging process.
Moreover, the definitions were updated for categories such as Renaissance, Shopper Marketing, Brand Experience, GoodWorks EFFIE – Non – Profit, Media Innovation and Single media company activation.
The documents needed to submit entries to Romanian Effies are available on festival’s website, www.effie.ro.
More details and advises on how to enter Romanian Effies will be given in a seminary organized by the committee in charge with organizing Effie Awards. The seminary – “How to win an EFFIE” – is scheduled to take place on February 24th, starting 10am, at IAA Romanias headquarters. Stefan Teodorescu, Group Brand Director URSUS Breweries SA, Lorand Balint – Managing Director Leo Burnett and Stefan Chiritescu – Head of Strategy Graffiti BBDO will offer some examples from previous years, will answer questions and give more details on the novelties of this year’s competition .
