ADC, the first global creative collective of its kind and the longest standing organization championing the visual arts, designated the winners of 2014 Tomorrow Awards, which were announced in the first night of the ADC Festival of Art + Craft in Advertising and Design, now taking place at The James Royal Palm in Miami Beach.
The Tomorrow Awards is an international award show dedicated to discovering, showcasing and awarding creativity that pushes the boundaries of technological innovation. Since the very best examples of such work are those that defy standard award show categories, the Tomorrow Awards is category-neutral; all entries are judged side by side and only the ideas that best reflect the future shine brightest. The first of its kind to invoke an inclusive industry judging structure on a global scale, the Tomorrow Awards employs a two-part judging process to arrive at its winners. The Tomorrow Awards proudly supports the mission of the ADC Global Network to Connect, Provoke and Elevate creative professionals in visual communications worldwide and the Let’s Make the Industry 50/50 Initiative.
Tomorrow Awards is the only international marketing and visual communications awards show with the mission of educating and discovering work that pushes the boundaries of creative innovation. This year’s winners were driven by a mission to empower viewers to make a difference. All of the winning submissions are undoubtedly pushing advertising to its creative edges.
The award-winning work was judged by a jury of esteemed creative professionals, and made up equally of women and men, becoming one of the first awards show juries to respond to the call of the Let’s Make the Industry 50/50 initiative. The Monster Judges who selected the final five winners from the Industry Judges’ shortlist were Joel Lunenfeld – VP of Global Brand Strategy Twitter, Kaydee Bennett – Vice President Brand Marketing and Digital Strategy Goldman Sachs & Co., Chris Gomersall – Creative Strategist Facebook Creative Shop, Michael Berner – Director of Global Digital Business Development and Social Media Strategy American Express and Brooke Skinner – Senior Vice President Brand Strategy Lead for Chicago and San Francisco DigitasLBi.
