ADC*RO launches ADC*RO Top 3 creative campaigns

Art Director’s Club Romania starts a new project with the purpose of promoting and recognizing the excellence in the Romanian creativity. Therefore, each month, the Art Directors Club Romania members will chose the top 3 most creative executions realized in that month, in order to applaud the everyday work of the creative teams and to offer the industry a mirror as truthful as possible of its level. Each month there will be selected the team of the month and the idea of the month, and, at the end of the year, it will be given the distinction “Team of the Year”, “Idea of the Year” and “Client of the Year”. All that in a special ceremony.

In January on the first place was situated Publicis Romania cu with the campaign Shop like a Jedi, created for Carrefour. On second place we can find the campaign “Where’s Mr Applehead”, for the client Strongbow, agency Ogilvy&Mather, while the third place is awarded for an outdoor execution, by Fun Done, client the tourism agency Happy Tour.

The creative teams that were awarded are formed by: Irina Stoleru (Senior Art Director) and Ruxandra Drilea (Copywriter) of Publicis Romania, Vlad Ionita (Art Director), Silvia Gradinaru and Alexandra Bunda, (Copywriteri) of Ogilvy&Mather, Roxana Cozaru (Art Director) and Tiberiu Coman (Copywriter) of Fun Done.

The three executions on the January top have been noted long four other selected and appreciated ideas by the ADC*RO members: BRD – Maria, Grolsch – Fata-n fata cu Class, Fibra – Droga vs Boguski and Primus – The philanthropists.

In February, on the top stop is situated McCann Erickson with the campaign Go Mono for Radio 21. Lowe Profero takes the second place with the Valentine’s Day activation for Orange, My Heartbeats App, while the third stop is awarded to the newly launched agency The Temple, with the 360 stop motion movie, Grolsch Creative Metamorphosis.

The awarded creative teams are formed of: Lia Bira (Art Director) and Alexandru Vasile (Copywriter) of McCann Erickson, Anca Masek (Art Director) and Miruna Dumitrescu (Copywriter) of Lowe Profero, Sweet Damage Crew (Art Director) and Andrei Lascut (Copywriter) of The Temple.

The other juried and remarqued campaigns in February were Vodafone – Manifesto, Pepsi – 50 de ani de spirit liber and Therme Bucuresti – Flashmob with the Symphonic Orchestra.

“ADC*RO Top 3 represents an excellent initiative thought and projected during Ema Prisca’s mandate that we are very happy to be able to launch. We want to bring together the agencies in Romania and we learn to be happy for our colleagues’ work, not forgetting to show our appreciation also for the clients that have the courage to adopt beautiful creative solutions. I am looking forward to see what campaigns come up in March and the rest of the months of this year and I wish the best of luck to the creative teams, in gaining the distinction of “Team of the Year”,” Eugen Suman, creative director Kubis Interactive and ADC Romania President.
