Global creative agency Arnold Worldwide made, for Jergens Skincare, a new creative featuring actress and comedian Leslie Mann. The creative, part of the “You’re More Than Just A Pretty Face” campaign for the skincare brand includes a new TV spot, print ads and a series of digital short films in support of the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer product, distributed in the American and Canadian markets.
“You’re More Than Just A Pretty Face”, which first launched in July 2015, leans on a key consumer insight: women tend to spend the majority of their time on their hair and face, but don’t pay as much attention to the other 90% of their body. The campaign reminds women to care for one of their most underutilized beauty assets – their skin, and taps into Leslie Mann’s natural charm and humor to bring a fresh approach to what has historically been a rather dry category.
In the new 15-second TV spot — “How To Get That Poolside Glow” — Leslie awkwardly interrupts a couple sizzling sunbathers, offering them a better way to get a perfect kissed-by-the-sun glow. Broadcast efforts are being supported by a series of digital short films, including “Rotisserie” — a :15 film to be launched on Jergens social channels early this week.
Jergens Natural Glow creative includes TV, print, digital and social elements running in the United States and Canada. The “How To Get That Poolside Glow” spot, Us Weekly print ads and social began rolling out in mid-March 2016, with the first of the digital short films launching shortly.
