Anna Qvennerstedt (Forsman & Bodenfors) to chair this year’s rebooted Cresta Awards

Creativity, Festivals & Awards

Anna Qvennerstedt, Global Executive Chair of Forsman & Bodenfors, is to chair this year’s rebooted Cresta Awards.

The widely respected and multi award-winning head of the global F&B network had this to say following the announcement.

“Cresta stands out as truly global in its values, with no fear or favour in how it is judged. This enables it to produce a fairly chosen, and great to view, set of winners. I am also keen to encourage Cresta’s plans for important new events to help the next generation of creative talent.”

Anna has been with Forsman & Bodenfors since 2004 and was appointed Chairman in 2012.

Over the past two decades, she has won gold and Grand Prix medals in numerous international award shows and has served as a juror and/or Jury President on award festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio, Eurobest, D&AD, New York Festivals, Ad Stars and the One Show.

The agency now has offices in New York, London, Toronto, Montreal, Shanghai and Singapore as well as its home cities of Gothenburg and Stockholm.

Commenting on the appointment, Lewis Blackwell, the new CEO of Cresta, said:

We are privileged to have such a globally respected creative to chair the first Cresta Awards under the new management team. Anna has contributed enormously to the creative industry and sets her own agency the very highest creative standards. And she’s now leading it into new territories. She’s a great inspiration to us and many others.

Since the revamped Cresta opened for entries earlier this month, international interest has been growing and Alan Page, President, told us:

We are thrilled that someone as talented as Anna shares our vision for the future of creative awards and sees in us the potential to offer individual creatives as well as their agencies real value.

This year’s Cresta Awards offers competitions across 14 areas – with new sections including ‘The Future’. The Entry Deadline is 31 May.
