Starting July, Ioana Zamfir is the new Creative Director MRM//McCann Romania, a role she will share with Simona Suman, who is in the management team from MRM//McCann Romania since 2017.
With 9 years of experience in advertising, Ioana will lead, together with Simona, a creative department in continuous expansion, which is now 26 people strong and develops campaigns for over 15 local and international clients.
Ioana will work together with team’s “veterans”: Ion Cojocaru (Content Director MRM//McCann Romania), Alex Budin (Head of Technology), Maria Doda (Creative Lead B2B) and Andrei Balan (Head of Strategy).
The agency has, starting this month, 2 Creative Directors, as part of our strategic efforts for consolidate and develop the team. We are offering complex solutions and services, of branded content, digital storytelling, digital utilities or technology, and for this we need people with a complex background, with experience in brand and valuable insights

Before MRM, Ioana was Creative Director at Cheil Romania and, previous to that, she was part of the creative team from McCann Bucharest for 7 years, from which 2 years as Group Creative Director. During her 9 years of career, Ioana worked for local and international clients like Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Mastercard, Unilever, Nestle or Julius Meinl. Ioana is one of the most awarded Creative Directors in Romania and the campaigns she worked on received accolades at Cannes Lions, D&AD, LIA Awards, Clio Awards, Eurobest, Epica or Golden Drum. She was also designated Copywriter of the Year in Romania in 2017 and was part of the jury in competitions like Cannes Lions and New York Festivals.
