The Evening Standard announced the appointment of James White as its new Commercial Director, who will begin in the role with immediate effect.
In a newly created role, White will be responsible for all revenue lines across the multi-platform news brand, read by 2.5 million adults daily. He will report directly into Mike Soutar, who was appointed Chief Executive in September.
White has played a key role in the success of the business. He joined The Evening Standard in 2006 as Agency Sales Executive and was promoted most recently to Chief Trading Officer. Previous to this, he worked at both The Scotsman and The Independent.
