Accenture: Raluca Burghelea – Country Managing Director Romania, Gianrodolfo Tonielli – SAP Business Group Lead for Italy, CE and Greece.

Accenture appointed Raluca Burghelea as Country Managing Director for Romania and Gianrodolfo Tonielli as Accenture’s SAP Business Group Lead for Italy, Central Europe and Greece. Both took over the positions on September 1st.

The new Country Managing Director of Accenture Romania, Raluca started her career at Accenture in 2007 and is currently Managing Director of Operations services in Romania, a role she will keep. As Operations Lead, she has played an instrumental role in developing the local practice in Romania across 6 cities, working with clients all around the world to transform the way they operate.

In her 16 years in Accenture, Raluca has held various roles. Outside of her local responsibilities, she has successfully established the Bulgaria Operations center, and has led the Finance and Accounting portfolio of Operations clients across Romania, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Prior to this, she has held several leadership roles, establishing the Timisoara delivery center, and leading the recruitment team in Romania. Raluca is a strong advocate for employees’ wellbeing, inclusion, diversity and making a positive impact in local communities.

Raluca will succeed Gianrodolfo Tonielli, who has been the Country Managing Director of Accenture Romania for the past 5 years. Gianrodolfo will become Accenture’s SAP Business Group Lead for Italy, Central Europe and Greece. He has been an integral part of Accenture success for over 30 years. He was the Business Lead for Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. Previously, he led Sales and Solutioning for Italy, Central Europe and Greece, where he signed important Consulting and Technology projects; and has held other strategic sales and delivery roles cross industries.

Raluca Burghelea and Gianrodolfo Tonielli have taken on the new roles on September 1, 2023.
