Bergenbier, one of Romania’s most beloved beer brands,  celebrates 30 years of uninterrupted presence on the local market, celebrating three decades of genuine friendship under the well-known slogan “Friends know why”.

To mark this occasion, Bergenbier is launching a limited edition series of collectable 0.5L cans, illustrating representative moments and symbols from these 30 years.

“Three decades alongside consumers are proof of the trust and values we share. For many, Bergenbier is more than just a beer — it’s a state of mind, an emotion, and part of the story of friendships. We are celebrating these three decades on the market with a unique campaign, through which we continue to stand by our friends who know why,” stated Victor Teioșanu, Marketing Director of Bergenbier S.A.

Each can has a message designed to bring a smile and a sense of nostalgia, evoking memories of the years when Bergenbier was enjoyed by generations of friends. From train trips to the seaside, the joy of the Golden Generation’s football matches, to moments spent listening to music on cassette players, all these moments are visually recalled on the collectable cans.

“Bergenbier is a brand with deep meaning for consumers in Romania, but also a strategic pillar for our company. With a solid heritage and a community of loyal friends, we remain a reliable ally in honouring and celebrating friendship and the joy of being together. And these things can only inspire us to move forward, towards the next 30 years,” added Cristina Botgros, Commercial Director of Bergenbier S.A.

“Every opened bottle of beer, every shared moment, and every celebrated friendship means Bergenbier. Through this campaign, we aimed to rekindle cherished memories shared with friends, those you remember when…? And the answer is always the same: Bergenbier was there,” added Bogdan Jianu, Senior Brand Manager at Bergenbier.

The collector’s edition cans are available in all off-trade and on-tradestores in Romania. In addition, Bergenbier will run a digital campaign dedicated to its 30th anniversary in Romania. Because… friends know why!
