Animax opens a new store in Chitila Retail Park
Animax, a leading pet retail chain with more than 130 stores across Romania, announces the opening of a new store in Chitila Retail Park – the first Animax store in the town of Chitila.
Located in Chitila Retail Park, at 2 Șos. Banatului, Chitila, Ilfov County, the new store will open its doors on Friday, October 9, 2026. Covering an area of 270 sqm, the store is staffed by a dedicated team of pet lovers and offers the same comprehensive range available across the Animax network: food for pets of all ages and sizes, treats, supplements, hygiene products, beds, toys, carriers, aquarium and cage accessories, as well as products for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles and fish.

For three days, from October 9 to 11 (Friday to Sunday), customers can enjoy a 20% DISCOUNT on full-price products*, while stocks last.
The grand opening weekend will feature a party with a DJ and MC, as well as competitions with prizes that customers can enter together with their pets: Animax Cup, a competition designed to test attention, speed and alertness, and the Fashion Show, where owners and their pets will walk the green carpet together.
Outside the competition hours, visitors are also invited to spin the Wheel of Fortune using their shopping receipt and win a guaranteed prize for their pet on the spot. Every afternoon, children – and adults too – can also meet the Animax mascot.
