Cheil | Centrade reorganizes after Mona Opran’s new venture in strategic consulting

Mona Opran, COO Cheil | Centrade South East Europe, is leaving the Southeastern Europe hub of Cheil after 15 years with Centrade group, to start a new chapter in her already prodigious career. Over the past decade she held different managerial roles in Centrade Group, leading the agency’s transformation to what has become today a top data-driven creative enterprise in the SEE region.

Mona will continue to collaborate with the agency as a senior consultant on specific brand projects, as Radu Florescu takes on the COO/CEO role and will be fully engaged in the day-to-day operations.

The new executive committee will include Sergiu Vendigler as CFO, Gabriela Nanu and Carmen Miruță as Business Directors with extended New Business prerogatives, Nicoleta Iordache as Head of Digital Intelligence and Analytics (DIA data analysis division), and Mihai Gongu as Executive Creative Director CEE. The new structure will ensure the operational management moving forward in growing strong brands and build new models and processes for better meeting customers’ needs.

Announcing Opran’s departure, Radu Florescu, CEO Cheil | Centrade noted “the agency is what it is today, much to her credit. We have faced challenges of a changing market, competition and the nature of a fast-changing global economy and Mona has been a stable anchor and a trusted partner. She brought a different perspective, a can-do attitude, smarts and smiles.”
