Ogilvy won the Network of the Year award at Golden Hammer 2010, while Ogilvy&Mather Advertising Romania came home with The Agency of the Year award.
Golden Hammer is the main advertising festival in Latvia and attracted this year works from agencies in Central and Eastern Europe, but also from countries such as South Africa, Australia, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium or Finland.
Ogilvy Romania won the Print section with “The Big Turn Off” for World Wide Fund (WWW), that was awarded both Gold and Grand Prix.
The unconventional work “Punch Machine” made by Ogilvy for the same client won Silver in Outdoor section.
Also in Gold Hammer, another Romanian agency received honours: Saatchi&Saatchi. Saatchi & Saatchi won a Silver at Print with the series of ads “Sting / Tickle / Burn / Scratch” and a Gold in the same category with “Birds – Swallow ” for Greenpeace. “Birds – Swallow” is also finalist in New York Festivals competition.
