Although the advertising industry’s attention is monopolized by Cannes Lions this week, Golden Drum continues its preparations for a new edition of the festival, that will take place in October, in Portoroz.
In this direction, the organizers announced that online registration for both entries and personal participation will start at the end of this month.
The entry fees at this year’s Golden Drum are from Euro 255 to Euro 585 (VAT included), as it follows: Euro 255 for Radio, Euro 285 for Interactive, Euro 330 for Film, Press, Outdoor, Design & Art Direction, Euro 390 for Media and PR and Euro 585 for Advertising Campaigns.
The “pentathlon” means that each entry at Golden Drum 2010 will compete five times: in their categories and competition groups, shortlisted ones – for “Best Act Award”, the best ranked ones – for Golden Drum Brand Grand Prix (regardless of media), Golden Rose & Golden Net and also for Intercontinental Advertising Cup.
This year, Golden Drum will award 10 new Brand Grand Prix Awards, in 10 product and services categories regardless of media. The product and services categories where these awards will be given are “Food and beverages”, “Personal care, health, fashion, cosmetics, luxury goods”, “Sport, entertainment, recreation, leisure”, “Cars, other vehicles and accessories”, “Travel, tourism and transport”, “Household products and maintenance, furnishing and accessories”, “Communication, publications and electronic media”, “Retail”, “Corporate and financial” and “Public services and social engagements”.
In its second year of existence, PR Jury from Golden Drum has Eliza Rogalski, CEO Tempo Group, as president. At last’s year edition, the Romanian member in the PR Jury at Golden Drum was Adriana Saftoiu.
On the other hand, Adrian Botan was, last year, the president of Advertising Campaigns jury, representing this way the Romanian advertising industry at Golden Drum. This year, Romanian advertising industry has again a representative in the mentioned jury, as a juror, Lucian Georgescu, Managing Partner GAV.
