McCann PR Romania was recognized at International Stevie Awards, according to data published on competition’s website.
McCann PR was selected as finalist and distinguished honoree with “Microsoft Romania Digital Press Center”, in “Best Online Press Room” category, where the big award went to UPS Atlanta with “UPS Pressroom”.
At the “Marketing Campaign of the Year – For a Product”, McCann PR was appreciated for “Windows 7 Launch on the Romanian market”, while the award went to EFES Istanbul for “Gusta”.
Another distinguished honoree went to Coca-Cola HBC Romania, for “Adopt a river from its springs to its mouth”, in the category “Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Community Relations”. The winner of this category was National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts Seoul (South Korea) with “Gugaknuri”.
Organizations and individuals from 28 nations have been announced as Stevie Award winners. The prizes will be handed in on September 27th, during a ceremony that will take place in Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Istanbul (Turkey).
In terms of awards won, United States was on the 1st place at this year’s edition, with 32 trophies, followed by South Korea – 22, Turkey – 13, UK – 12, Canada and United Arab Emirates (with six and five, respectively).
The Multinational Company of the Year in Europe award went to BASF, the Executive of the Year in Asia (China, Japan or Korea) was received by J.T. Wang, Chairman and CEO Acer Incorporated, while the CSR Program of the Year in the Middle East and Africa award was received by Mercedes-Benz South Africa. On the other hand, the most innovative company of the year in North America award went to Equipois Inc.
Stevie Awards winners were selected from a list of more than 1,700 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations.
Stevie Awards are conferred in four programs: The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
