Dan Grigore Adamescu brought the package of 49% shares in Romanian daily Romania libera that were owned by Medien Holding, becoming the sole owner of the publication.The announcement comes a day after the German media group WAZ, that had shares in Romania libera, announced, at its turn, that will leave Romania because “Romanian market is distorted” by the investments made by businessmen that own their money in other economical sectors and not in press.
The news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP) asked the insolvency of Realitatea Media SA and Romanian news agency NewsIn, part of Romanian media trust Realitatea – Caţavencu.
